A city I would like to live in: Parral
The city that I ould like to live in is Parral.
Location of Parral in Chile:
The city that I would like to live in isn’t exactly a city, it is maybe a town or village and it is Parral.
Parral is located in the south-center of
Chile, Maule región, Linares province.
The main reason for me to wanting to live here is my family and the quiet enviroment that the place has.
When I was younger me and my family would
often go to Parral for visiting my grandparents, once my grandpa died and my
grandma was there alone most of the time and also me being a little bit older
(17-18 years old) I used to go alone, without my brother or parents, only to be
with my grandma and cook with with her, talk to her, anything that could help her not to be that alone and sad.
Talking about the weather, it is very
similar to Santiago and the other many cities and towns within the south
center of the country.
A mediterranean weather with dry summers
and rainy winters.
What I like from Parral is the train station, the
Plaza de Armas, the little streets and houses and the food.
Also, the located the Digua reservoir, Bullileo reservoir are locate here, also the Longaví and Perquilaiquén river, a water park and a vast view of the Andes and the precordillera.
It is very rural, so the natural features
are everywhere if you can find beauty in the nature.
Talking about the lifestyle I can assure you that the problems that are there are completely different from the ones I have
here in the big city.
Also, people are often more calm and nice,
they know eachother and everytime you see a familiar face in the street you have
to say hi and talk for a moment.
After the nap time it is common to go to the house of a friend to drink mate with biscuits and talk.
If I could live here I would always be in
the mountain doing trekking or camping, but always at the mountain or near to a
river.
The Longaví river is part of my childhood
and I love to sit next to it and watch it flow.
If I could live here my entire life would
be impproved, it is less noisy and crowded there, people are nicer and everything
is natural.
